Getting started for Employees

Sign in, open Retain work, and find Support.

An Employee uses Plural for assigned retain work and for their own account. That role does not manage hiring or billing.

Before you start

  • You must be signed in.
  • An Employee can open Retain: My Tasks, Feedback, Evaluations, and Sessions.
  • An Employee can open Settings for their own Profile.
  • An Employee cannot create Careers. That role does not see Hire.
  • An Employee cannot manage Billing & Usage. That role does not see People & Places.
  • An Employee does not see Pulse Checks or Engagement in the sidebar. Respond to a Pulse Check from My Tasks or from a message.

Sign in

  1. Open the Plural log in page.
  2. Type your email and password, or select Continue with Google.
  3. If your organization uses Single Sign-On, select Sign in with SSO.

Find Support

  1. In the sidebar, select Support.
  2. Select View documentation on Support Documentation to open this help center.

You can also email the support team from Support Team.

Feedback

  1. Open Retain, then open Feedback.
  2. Select Give Feedback when you write a note about a teammate.

Evaluations

Complete evaluations assigned to you.

  1. Open Retain, then open Evaluations.
  2. Select All Evaluations.

Sessions

Open a Session to prepare. An Employee cannot create a Session.

  1. Open Retain, then open Sessions.

Pulse Checks

When you receive a Pulse Check, open it from a message or from My Tasks.

  1. Open Retain, then open My Tasks.
  2. Select Personal Tasks.
  3. In Your tasks, find Complete a pulse check. Select Complete.

Your profile

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Under User settings, select Profile.

You can also add a passkey or enable Two-Factor Authentication from Settings. See How to add a passkey and How to enable two-factor authentication.

After you finish

You can sign in, open Support, give Feedback, complete an assigned Evaluation, prepare for a Session, and respond to a Pulse Check from My Tasks.
