How to create a Career
Create an open role, write the job description, set pay, add application questions, and share the Career.
A Career is an open role. People can apply for it on your careers site.
Before you start
- You must be signed in.
- These roles can create a Career: owner, administrator, hiring manager, and Office Administrator.
- If you are an Office Administrator, you must select at least one office that you administer. If you do not, the form shows: Select at least one office you administer.
- If you are a hiring manager or an Office Administrator, and you do not select a hiring manager, the system assigns you as the hiring manager.
- A new Career is listed on the public site. It is open for applications unless you change that later.
The create flow has three steps: Career details, Application questions, and Share.
View Careers
- Open Hire, then open Careers.

- Select Add career.

Career details
The page title is Create open role. The form has four sections: Basic Information, Work arrangement, Compensation, and Office & team.

Basic Information

- In Description, write the role, the work, and the requirements. You can type the text, or you can generate a draft.
- Select Generate job description after you enter a title. Plural writes a draft from the title and the other details you already entered, such as work arrangement and pay. You can edit the draft before you continue. The button stays disabled until the title has text.
