How to share a Career
Copy the public posting link after you create a Career, or open the public listing.
After you create a Career, you can copy the public link from Settings. You can send that link. People can also find the Career on your public careers site.
When you create a Career, the last wizard step is Share this role. See How to create a Career.
Before you start
- You must be signed in.
- These roles can copy the public link: owner, administrator, hiring manager, and Office Administrator.
- If you are an Office Administrator, you can share a Career when it includes an office that you administer.
- The Career must be shown on the public careers site. If it is hidden, turn on Show on public careers site. See How to close or open Applications.
View Careers
- Open Hire, then open Careers.
- Select the Career title. This example uses Store Associate.

- Select Settings.
- Confirm that Publish is open. Publish is the first item in the settings list.
Public link
Share your career listing has the public posting link.

- Select Copy link.
- A success message shows: Link copied.
- Select Open public posting if you want to open the listing in a new tab.
If the copy fails, the page shows: Could not copy link. Copy it manually instead.
Public URL
Public posting URL sets the path after your organization permalink.
- In URL slug, type the short name for the listing.
- Select Save URL.
- A success message shows: Public posting URL updated.
- Select Copy URL if you want the full URL.
- Select Open URL if you want to open the listing.
Details
You can also open the public listing from the Career.
- Select Details.
- Select Preview on Careers Page.
After you finish
You have the public URL. Send the link, or open the listing to confirm that it is correct.
The Careers list shows Published in the Careers site column when the role is on the public site.
