Role summary
The Software Engineer delivers reliable, user-facing product capabilities through thoughtful design, clean implementation, and continuous improvement of the codebase.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain features across the application stack
- Write tested, maintainable code and participate in peer code reviews
- Collaborate with product and design on requirements, estimates, and tradeoffs
- Investigate bugs, performance issues, and production incidents
- Contribute to engineering standards, documentation, and tooling improvements
- Support deployment, monitoring, and on-call rotations as needed
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency with a modern web stack (e.g., TypeScript, React, Node, or equivalent)
- Experience designing APIs, data models, and automated tests
- Strong debugging skills and comfort working in git-based workflows
- Clear written communication in async, remote-friendly teams
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, or observability tools
- Background in B2B SaaS or high-growth product environments
- Interest in mentorship or technical leadership opportunities
