Role summary
The Site Superintendent leads daily field operations, ensuring work is performed safely, to spec, and on schedule while coordinating subcontractors and internal crews.
Responsibilities
- Direct daily site activities, crew assignments, and trade sequencing
- Enforce safety programs, PPE requirements, and toolbox talks
- Review plans, RFIs, and field conditions with the project manager
- Conduct quality inspections and document punch-list items
- Coordinate deliveries, equipment, and site logistics
- Maintain daily logs, photos, and progress reports
Requirements
- 5+ years of construction field leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of building methods, codes, and safety regulations
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
- Effective communication with trades, inspectors, and project staff
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred
Nice to have
- Experience on commercial, multifamily, or industrial projects
- First aid/CPR certification
- Bilingual communication skills for diverse crews
