Role summary

The Site Superintendent leads daily field operations, ensuring work is performed safely, to spec, and on schedule while coordinating subcontractors and internal crews.

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily site activities, crew assignments, and trade sequencing
  • Enforce safety programs, PPE requirements, and toolbox talks
  • Review plans, RFIs, and field conditions with the project manager
  • Conduct quality inspections and document punch-list items
  • Coordinate deliveries, equipment, and site logistics
  • Maintain daily logs, photos, and progress reports

Requirements

  • 5+ years of construction field leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of building methods, codes, and safety regulations
  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
  • Effective communication with trades, inspectors, and project staff
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred

Nice to have

  • Experience on commercial, multifamily, or industrial projects
  • First aid/CPR certification
  • Bilingual communication skills for diverse crews
