Posting to job boards

Use the public Career URL so candidates apply on your careers site and all applications land in Plural. Indeed and ZipRecruiter do not offer this option on every account by default — you need to request it from each site. There is no extra charge for this feature on either platform.

Before you start

• You must be signed in.
• These plans include this feature: Hire, Hire + Retain, and Enterprise.
• These roles can post a Career to a job board: Owner, Administrator, Hiring Manager, and Office Administrator.
• Copy the public Career URL. See Sharing careers.
• The Career must be shown on the public careers site and open for applications. See Managing career settings.
• The URL must open the Career page. That page has the job description and a way to apply.

Get the public URL

1. Open Hire, then open Careers.
2. Select the Career title.
3. Select Settings. Confirm that Publish is open.
4. In Share your career listing, select Copy link.

Use this URL in Indeed and ZipRecruiter. Do not use a generic homepage if the job board asks for an application URL.

Indeed

Indeed calls this Apply URL. Sign in to your Indeed employer account and contact Indeed support to request that they enable Apply URL on your account. When you contact them, let them know that you use Plural as your applicant tracking system and candidates must apply on your careers site.

Indeed will ask for your ATS URL. Provide the public Career URL you copied. Do not use your homepage — Indeed needs a direct link to the specific role.

After Indeed enables Apply URL:

1. Post or edit a job on Indeed.
2. Select Edit on Application Method.
3. Turn off Receive applications on Indeed.
4. Paste your Plural Career URL.
5. If Indeed requests a tracking code, paste it into Careers Page Tracking. Depending on your application volume, Indeed may require this step. See Tracking snippets.

If you later add a custom domain to your careers page, contact Indeed again to update the ATS URL. See Set a custom domain.

ZipRecruiter

ZipRecruiter calls this Custom Apply URL. You need a Pro plan or higher. Contact ZipRecruiter Sales to request Custom Apply URL on your account.

After ZipRecruiter enables it:

1. Open Jobs, then Edit Job.
2. Under Send New Candidates To, select A Custom Apply URL.
3. Paste your Plural Career URL. Select Save Changes.
