Backup and restore
Export Careers Page settings to a YAML file, or import a file to restore them.
Backup & restore exports site settings to a YAML file. You can import that file later. Use this when you copy settings to another environment or keep a backup.
Logo and cover images are not in the file. Upload those images again after you import.
Before you start
- You must be signed in.
- These plans include this feature: Hire, Hire + Retain, and Enterprise.
- These roles can export and import settings: Owner, Administrator, Hiring Manager, and Office Administrator.
- Open Hire, then open Careers Page. See Opening the Careers Page.
Export settings
- Select Settings.
- Select Backup & restore.
- Select Export YAML.
- Save the file.
The help text is Export or import site settings. Logo and cover images must be re-uploaded after import.
The file includes branding, languages, site sections, tracking snippets, and LinkedIn feed settings.
Import settings
- Select Import YAML.
- Choose a YAML file that you exported from Plural.
A success message shows: Imported public careers site settings from YAML.
If the file is not valid, the page shows an error. Common causes are a file that is not YAML, or an export from a later version.
After you finish
The preview shows the imported settings. Upload the logo and cover again if you use those images.
