Passkeys

Add and remove passkeys you use to sign in without a password.

A passkey is a sign-in method. You use Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or a security key. You do not type a password each time.

Passkeys are not the same as Two-Factor Authentication. See Two-factor authentication.

Before you start

  • You must be signed in.
  • These plans include this feature: Hire, Retain, Hire + Retain, and Enterprise.
  • These roles can add or remove passkeys for their own account: Owner, Administrator, Auditor, Hiring Manager, Office Administrator, and Employee.
  • Your browser must support passkeys. If it does not, the page shows: Passkeys are not supported in this browser.
  • You must have your account password. Plural asks you to confirm it before it creates or removes a passkey.
